Temporarily Suspended …

Greetings everyone!

Well, normally when you hear the word “suspended” … you probably think something bad.  You know, like, suspended from school or work.  But, in this case, suspended is good!

I am temporarily suspending all of my sampler boxes.  Why?  Well, because I’ve had a pretty good run of sales and swaps lately, so, I’m running LOW on tea!  Can you believe that?

Don’t get me wrong, I still have PLENTY of tea to keep me busily doing reviews, but most of these are small samples with not enough to comprise another sample to include in a sampler box.

And the key word in “temporarily suspending all my sampler boxes” is temporarily.  Trust me, I’ll be back, probably within a month or less, with an updated tea cupboard on Steepster, and more sampler boxes.  I hope to reinstate the big box of samples at that time … only instead of using the flat rate box, I am going to look into the regional boxes.

Thank you all for your business and your support.  I can’t tell you what it’s meant to me … and how it has helped me to get my tea stash under some semblance of control!

*happy dance!*

A Quick Update…

Greetings Everyone:

Just a quick update to let my customers know… I’m temporarily suspending the “Big Box of Samples” aka the Flat Rate Box of Samples.

The main reason for this is that since I closed my tea blending/flavoring business, I no longer stock boxes, and I just used the very last of my Flat Rate boxes that I had in storage.  I can, of course, pick up one or two of these boxes at my post office very easily the next time I visit, however, I have an abundance of the Foodzie boxes in my storage at the moment.  And I’d much rather fill these up with tea samples and send them out to new homes than to get a new, unused box from the post office and fill it up.  In other words, I’d rather be recycling/upcycling than using a new box.

And you know what?  The Foodzie Boxes full of samples are quite a bargain … a steal really!

I do hope that I’ve not inconvenienced anyone with this decision.  As soon as I’ve managed to sell a few of the Foodzie Box of Tea Samples, I will reinstate the Big Box, but for now, I do hope that if you came here looking for the big box, that you’ll consider ordering the Foodzie box instead!

What’s New with LiberTEAS

Greetings everyone!

I just wanted to leave a little note to highlight the newest addition to my shop:  one (and only ONE) package of Marshmallow Treat Genmaicha from 52Teas.  I received this as a mistake, and since I have trouble enough finishing the teas that I have as it is, I thought rather than opening it, I’d offer it to someone who hasn’t had the opportunity to try this fantastic blend … or perhaps to someone who loves it so much that they miss it and want it back in their stash!

Also, on SALE is my one (and ONLY) pouch of Black and Blue flavored Black Tea from 52Teas.

I haven’t yet had a chance to take a photo of it yet, but, when I get around to that, I will also be offering my one and only pouch of Milk & Cookies (also from 52Teas).  If this is something you’re interested in, please let me know and I’ll set up a special listing for you … otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until I get around to taking that photo!

A Few New Additions to My Shop

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to write a quick update.  Recently I’ve added a new Earl Grey Sampler to my shop.  This sampler includes 15 different Earl Grey teas (well, actually 16 if you count the bonus!)  Check it out when you’ve got a moment!

I also have begun offering my food safe, biodegradable baggies that I package some of my samples in.  Yes, they’re clear, but, my thought is that you’ll be using the tea (or at least I hope you would!) long before the clear becomes an issue.  And they are biodegradable, which is something that is very important to me.  (PS:  sorry about the photo, I’m no photographer)

That’s all for now… I hope to add another Oolong sampler soon…

In the meantime, take care, and thanks for reading!

And the Winner is…

Little Mew Brew … aka The Purrfect Cup … aka Courtney!

Courtney’s was actually the second name I drew, but after trying several times to contact the first name drawn with no success, I found it necessary to draw again … and this time, Courtney was the winner.

Courtney, congratulations!  Your package will be shipped very soon, I hope you enjoy your teas!

PS:  Courtney also has a great selection of teas for sale … Shop at Little Mew Brew!

Special “Grand Opening” Giveaway!

As my way of kicking off my new “marketplace blog” I want to offer a special giveaway of one of my Foodzie Box Samplers!  You will receive a Foodzie box that’s packed FULL of samples of various teas from my personal stash.  I will also include an infuser ball or some T-Sacs (whichever you prefer) in the box.

I’m running this contest through Wednesday, September 7, 2011, and  I will draw the winner via random.org sometime on Thursday afternoon.

To enter, all you need to do is comment on this post and include your email address so that I can contact you for your shipping information in case you win!

Cheers!

Let’s Have Some Tea!

Greetings!

You are here, so am I, so please join me in a cup of tea!

Mia Wasikowska as Alice in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

Most of you probably know me as LiberTeas – one half of the tea review team known as the SororiTea Sisters.  So I don’t need to tell you that I drink a lot of tea … and I taste a lot of different teas so that I can review them for our readers.

One of the “side-effects” of being a tea reviewer is the accumulation of tea.  And I have a LOT of tea.  And I have more teas coming in!  So I need to liquidate some of the tea that I have on hand to make room for the teas that are arriving.

That’s where you – and this blog – come in.  I would like to share these teas with you, so I have started a little tea shop.  My focus is to sell samples of the teas that I’ve already reviewed… so most of these teas are “sample” sized.

Thanks for stopping by!
